High work loads
With current job shortages post-COVID, it's easy for staff to feel overwhelmed by responsibility and under-supported, often despite management's best efforts.
Tapping can quickly release the feeling of overwhelm, switching back on our brain's pre-frontal cortex and allowing us to prioritise effectively, be more proactive and creative in our approach, free from the stress of it being "too much".
Feeling uncertain about their role
Often employees can feel anxious if they are unsure how they fit into their role and their workplace as a whole.
Tapping can help to alleviate the stress involved, inspire more confidence and self-assuredness which leads to more focus on their duties.
Imposter Syndrome is alive and well in over 70% of successful people - it causes us to doubt our abilities, tell ourselves unresourceful stories about our skills and cause a slump in productivity, interest and output.
Confidence is key - how would it be to foster your employees' confidence, so they felt excited to turn up to work and feel capable to reach their potential? Tapping can most certainly help!
Interpersonal conflicts and office politics account for a large portion of unhappiness or dissatisfaction in the workplace.
Addressing issues where they begin and fostering self-assuredness in your staff will help them more easily resolve conflicts and disagreements so teams and members can work together in a more cohesive manner - ramping up productivity as a whole and leading to less time off work.
It needs to be acknowledged that there will always be an inevitable cross-over between home and work - it's not always easy for people to "leave their personal problems at home" particularly when they may be coping with poor mental health.
We are all human - life happens and we don't always have the inner resources or tools to separate our lives from our work. We may feel vulnerable or scared to approach this with our peers and superiors.
Tapping helps give your staff a tangible tool to process and let go of things that can impact their professional performance. When people feel heard, seen and validated they will give more to their employer, their job and the people they interact with.
